STREET DANCE LEADERSHIP
& TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES
We understand the need to provide opportunities for young people so they can experience the different pathways that are on offer within street dance. Leadership training provides them with the skills that are transferrable to all aspects of life.

Courses can be booked by local authorities/ dance schools/ councils/ youth organisations etc with discounts available for bulk booking/ areas of deprivation.

Street Dance Activators Course
WHO IS IT FOR?
- Age 12 +
- Suitable for those wanting to take the first step into leading or facilitating Street Dance
- Appropriate for sports coaches/ youth club leaders/ teaching assistants who would like some basic knowledge into facilitating street dance in their environments
What is involved?
- learn some foundation steps of street dance
- Understand how to structure a street dance session
- have a go at some street dance based activities
- access to udoit's resources which will assist you further

- Certificate of attendance will be given on the day

Street Dance Leadership-Level 1
WHO IS IT FOR?
- Age 13 +
- Suitable for those street dancers who want to take the first step on their leadership journeys
- Great starting block for street dance teaching assistants/ coaches
- Must have some street dance experience
What is involved?
- Street dance foundations
- leadership skills
- plan, lead and evaluate street dance sessions
- 1 x 6hour day training + 2 hours supervised sessions in own chosen environment (dance school/ school/ community club etc)
Other information
- Courses can only go ahead if there is a minimum of 8 , maximum 12-15 in attendance
- Certificate of completion will be given after the 2 hours supervised leadership hours are signed off by the supervising adult
- This course allows you to deliver supervised sessions only

street dance leadership- level 2
WHO IS IT FOR?
- Age 15 +
- Suitable for those street dancers who want to take the NEXT step on their leadership journeys +towards becoming a street dance teacher
- Must have street dance experience
- Application will be required

What is involved?
- Street dance foundations
- leadership skills
- plan, lead and evaluate street dance sessions
- Street dance industry
- 2 x 6 hour day training + 10 hours supervised sessions in own chosen environment (dance school/ school/ community club etc)

Other information
- Courses can only go ahead if there is a minimum of 8 , maximum 12-15 in attendance
- Certificate of completion will be given after the 10 hours supervised leadership hours are signed off by the supervising adult
- This course allows you to deliver indirect supervised sessions Age 16+
