Guidance around why, when and how to take action is given within our Safeguarding Policy and Procedures. A list of helpful contacts is also available with the policy and procedures as well as in the “Downloads” tab below
Remember, your organisation’s designated safeguarding member of staff or a member of staff at UDOIT! Dance Foundation are there to provide help and can assess the concern you have. If you think it is urgent and that a child is at risk, ring the Local Children’s Services Social Care Centre (visit your local authorities website for details) or call the Police. Advice and guidance can also be sought from the NSPCC website and helpline – 0808 800 500.
All reports can be made anonymously so do not be afraid to make the call. If you are unsure remember See It, Think It, Act On It. Let somebody with extra knowledge decide what to do.

Maintaining Good Behaviour (click opens new box)
Maintaining good behaviour is key in ensuring the safety of children and young people within a class. To help with this we have a template “Class Code Of Conduct” that was produced by our partners EMD UK. Teachers can ask their students to sign this when joining the class.
Within the “Downloads” tab there is a guidance on anti – bullying in youth activities, we recommend viewing this document. There are also other downloads regarding bullying available.
